Many mornings when I arrive at work before 6 a.m., a street sweeper is working Commercial Avenue or nearby. My questions are: How clean do these streets need to be? Is this a preventive step to keep catch basins from clogging with leaves or is there another reason? And, of course, how much does it cost?
Question: What is going to be done with the reader board at the old Coos Bay fire station? Are the contractors just going to destroy it? It was working until recently, then it was turned off. Can’t it be used somewhere else or given to another fire department? It isn’t that old and cost the taxpayers a lot of money.

Question: What is the Adam Colby recall election costing the taxpayers?

Question: What ever happened to the free internet in downtown Coos Bay? I was at the wonderful Farmers Market today and needed to respond to a question and went to log into the sysem, and it is gone. Free internet in downtown areas is not only a public service but expected in this day and age. What happened?
Question: School districts around the state allow students who meet specific requirements to start school early. Why did the Coos Bay School Board recently choose to maintain its policy and not allow students to do so?
Question: I’ve been observing a lot of loaded log trucks coming out of the Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board property. What’s going on up there? Who is getting the money for the logs?
