Question: The Mill Casino-Hotel used to purchase liquor from the North Bend Liquor Store. According to the store, the casino now purchases its liquor directly from the state of Oregon for 5 percent above the state’s cost, which is 50 percent below retail. Is this true? If so, why can’t all bars and taverns buy directly from the state?
