About Jessica

Here is a little bit of information about Jessica Musicar:

A reporter for The World for more than two years, Jessica covers the city and schools of North Bend, Southwestern Oregon Community College and a variety of other beats and topics. Her favorite, though, is crime.

When this Brooklyn baby, who grew up in sunny San Diego, isn’t working on her stories or pop canning to work off her debts, she plays roller derby with the Coos County Roller Girls. She’s the league secretary and spends lots of time with teammates fundraising, training and figuring out ways to better connect with the Coos County community.

She also likes to read, draw badly, play with her cat, and hang out with her girl friends and boy.
