Teen found in igloo with pot, bongs, knife

An igloo is always a good place to keep the guns, pot and paraphernalia. I am thinking this kid needs a little more than just parental guidance at this point!

NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) — Police responding to a report of a suspicious man carrying a gun instead found two legs sticking out of a homemade igloo. New Castle County police said the legs belong to Delaware teen who was arrested Wednesday after he was found to be carrying a survival knife, a hammer, 7.5 grams of marijuana and two marijuana pipes.

County police spokesman Senior Cpl. Trinidad Navarro said the teen was released to his parents. Police said he was charged with carrying a concealed deadly weapon, carrying a concealed deadly instrument, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.

Christmas Story: boy licks pole, gets stuck

My name is Forest, Forest Gump.  I can’t believe someone actually did this, no doubt at the urging of some friends.  And the prize goes to, the little boy who could!

BOISE, Idaho (AP) — It’s become an annual winter tale: A young boy gets his tongue stuck to a metal pole, perhaps as the result of a dare. This year, the scene straight out of the movie “A Christmas Story” unfolded Tuesday morning in Boise with a boy of about 10. Boise firefighters used a glass of warm water to free the unidentified boy from the metal fence pole.

Fire Capt. Bill Tinsley says the boy’s tongue was bleeding a little, but he was OK and allowed to continue walking to school. Firefighters estimate the boy was 10 years old.

Rescue workers responded after a woman driving by saw the boy and called 911.

Last year, the unlucky boy was a 10-year-old from Hammond, Ind., especially apt, since the 1983 movie is set in a fictional city based on Hammond.

Police: Dad leaves boy and goes into strip club

So who exactly was being babysat here?  It seems to me the 5 year old was the more responsible of the two.  Maybe he should be charged with parental neglect for allowing this idiot out of the truck and into the strip bar.  I’d just love to have been a fly on the wall when he and his wife were alone.  You got some ‘splainin to do Lucy.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — A man was arrested after police said he left his 5-year-old son in a tractor-trailer while he ducked into an Indianapolis strip club to drink. The 39-year-old was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on child neglect and public intoxication charges after calling police to report his truck stolen and his child missing. Police said the man was too drunk to remember where he had parked.

They found the boy inside watching cartoons on a television inside the cab. The keys were in the ignition, and the doors were unlocked.

Police said the suspect put his son in jeopardy by leaving him exposed in a high crime area.

The man was taken to the Marion County jail, where his wife picked up him and the child.

Man accused of putting beer in infant’s bottle

Redneck fathers of the world unite, NOT!   What kind of person would even think of doing someting this stupid, oh I know, James Williams of Charleston West Virginia.   In the game of baby-sitting your grade is FAIL!

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) — A Charleston man was accused of putting beer into an infant’s bottle while baby-sitting the child. James Michael Williams was charged with felony child neglect creating the risk of injury. A criminal complaint accuses Williams of putting Natural Ice Light beer into the 11-month-old’s bottle on Friday.

Police were unable to determine if the child drank any beer. The baby’s mother and Williams’ cousin, Ebony Williams, said her child vomited shortly after she took the bottle away.
