POOLER, Ga. (AP) — Police arrested two women after a former lover burst into a Waffle House on Valentine’s Day and beat a man with her high-heel. Police charged 29-year-old woman and 32-year-old woman with battery and criminal damage to private property following the incident.

According to a police report, officers reporting to the Waffle House along U.S. 80 found an unidentified victim who suffered cuts and scrapes on his face that appeared to be made by the “spiked heel from a shoe.”

The victim told officers that he and his girlfriend were at a booth when a pair of sisters – one of whom is the mother of his children – came in and sparked an argument.

Man walks into Wal-Mart, smashes 29 TVs with bat

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

I know exactly what happened. He went to his wife and asked if he could get a brand new 55″ flat screeen TV to watch sports on. She said “are you kidding me, you have the lawn to mow, trash to take out and the house needs painting.” In his frustration he decided that if couldn’t have one no one else was going to either. I think most jails have flatscreens these days.

LILBURN, Ga. (AP) — Police in Georgia say a 23-year-old man grabbed a baseball bat inside of a Walmart and smashed 29 flat-screen televisions. Police in Lilburn near Atlanta have charged Westley Strellis with 29 counts of criminal damage to property in the second degree. Witnesses tell police he grabbed a metal baseball bat from the sporting goods section Wednesday, walked to the electronics department and destroyed the TVs on display.

He was arrested not long after that.

Police say the televisions are valued at over $22,000. Police say they do not know whether Strellis has an attorney.

Officials with the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office said Thursday that Tye Kuykendall found $200,000 in counterfeit money inside a hidden compartment behind the back seat of the car.

Authorities said Kuykendall bought the car after it sat for more than three years in an impound yard after being towed by Fulton County police in 2006.

Authorities said he was fixing a gas leak when he discovered the secret compartment.

Cherokee officials have called the U.S. Secret Service to help with the case.
